S&T Slovakia: Year-on-year revenue increase of 20%

In 2009, S&T Slovakia reinforced its position in the IT market. The 2009 revenues amounted to EUR 28,939 thousand, which represents a year-on-year increase of 19.7%. From the viewpoint of product structure, service related revenues decreases by 5% in comparison to the previous year. This was mainly due to project budget cuts and postponement of business solutions related projects by customers. On the other hand, in the field of hardware infrastructure and software license sales we have seen a significant growth, in particular due to technology contracts concluded with financial institutions, public sector and healthcare organizations.

“Consulting, implementation, development, outsourcing, service and support related revenues accounted for 48% of the total revenue. By reaching this percentage we have managed to meet our strategic goal to gradually expand consulting and business solutions related services, as well as managed services,” says Peter Kucer, Country Manager S&T Slovakia s.r.o.

From the viewpoint of revenue segmentation, the largest proportion of business has been done with state and public administration, healthcare facilities, utility companies, industrial companies and financial sector. In 2009, the following have ranked among the most significant new customers of S&T Slovakia: Slovakia Steel Mills Strážske, InsData Nitra, Ministry of Economy of the SR, Statistical office of the SR, the Customs Headquarters of the SR, Allianz - Slovenská poisťovňa and TuCon Žilina.
