S&T Slovakia has a team of highly skilled certified experts with long-term experience in providing complex customer support for all categories of sold products in its service centres in Bratislava, Banská Bystrica, Žilina and Košice

S&T Slovakia offers a flexible and modular service portfolio with a support that covers the entire product life-cycle from its installation to its disposal. Customers can select service products that best meet their requirements.

Hardware services

  • Standard warranty and post-warranty service of equipment on-site or in the respective service centre of S&T Slovakia: response time - next business day.
  • By means of a service contract the scope of service can be extended up to a guaranteed response time of 2 hours with a 24/7 coverage and added warranty of repair completion within an agreed period of time.
  • Progressive hardware service - guaranteed response time of 2 hours, guaranteed repair time, reserved spare parts, assigned employee responsible for organizing the agreed services.
  • Auxiliary services, such as problem diagnostics, preparation and control of the place of installation and therewith related consulting, preventive maintenance on-site or in one of our service centres.

Remote Support for Operating Systems

By purchasing our remote support service for operating systems the customer obtains security of qualified administration and quick resolution of problems that might occur in server operating systems

The service comprises the following activities:


  • operating system status monitoring
  • operating system log file control
  • operating system backup status control
  • control of system access and system security
  • administration and control of disk space consistency
  • administration of OS users
  • updating and installation of security patches
  • control of antivirus program and regular antivirus checks
  • recovery of operating system after crashes and recovery of user data
  • analysis, reporting and optimization of OS sessions

If requested by the customer, remote administration can be enhanced by on-line surveillance service which provides constant monitoring of OS parameters and minimizes outages or performance drops in server operating systems.

On-line monitoring is performed by sensors installed into the operating system. Such sensors constantly monitor the OS parameters and in case of emergencies immediately report any errors to the S&T Slovakia control centre.

This service is provided by specialists of S&T Slovakia certified for the following server operating systems:

  • Microsoft Windows server (NT 4.0, 2000, 2003)
  • Linux RedHat
  • HP Unix

User Helpdesk

By purchasing this service the customer obtains a single contact point for reporting any hardware or software related issues. The customer can easily keep track of all issues and their resolution, minimizes system outages and optimizes usability of its computer equipment.

The customer obtains access to certified HW, SW, and network experts of S&T Slovakia and the entire S&T AG group. The Helpdesk service optimizes utilization of resources needed for the IT environment to be functional and gives the customer an overview of all problems and how they are resolved.

The Helpdesk service includes the following:

  • a single point for reporting issues using tickets
  • monitoring and solving of user issues
  • reporting and overview of ticket resolution status
  • solving of user issues

User Helpdesk levels:

  • Level 1: receipt, logging, resolving and escalation of user issues.
  • Level 2: Problem management, resolution of issues impairing several users.
  • Level 3: Highest knowledge level, resolution of complex issues.

Escalations and solving of problems with software manufacturer. Depending on the selected service level, availability of service can be as follows:

  • the minimum Helpdesk availability is 9/5 - during working hours from 8 a.m. till 5 p.m. except on public holidays,
  • the maximum Helpdesk availability is 24/7 - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

IT outsourcing represents a modern way of information system and technology management. It provides an efficient tool for management and efficient utilization of information system facilities.
